Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer (Finance) to lead aerospace and defense development programs. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, cost control, and customer satisfaction across military aircraft systems, APUs, and propulsion technologies.

Based in Phoenix with a hybrid schedule, the role requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to drive program execution and government compliance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical systems engineering or project engineering experience in Aerospace & Defense.
• Experience leading engineering projects with schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Experience with military aviation, propulsion systems, APUs, or related aerospace products.
• Knowledge of development processes, verification/validation, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects through full product lifecycle, including development, testing, qualification, production support, and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, plans, milestones and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary engineering focal point for assigned projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet objectives and deliverables.
• Interface with US Government/military customers and manage technical requirements and risks.
