Collins Aerospace in Coralville, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to support our manufacturing operations. This onsite role will focus on keeping test equipment running, assisting technicians with complex troubleshooting, and improving test processes to ensure reliable production and on-time delivery.

The position requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years) and experience with test equipment, fabrication processes, and root-cause

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
Manufacturing and/or electrical troubleshooting experience.
Experience with test equipment and manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

Improve test yields, throughput, capacity, and product quality.
Perform root-cause analysis on test failures and implement corrective actions.
Study performance and reliability of test equipment and reduce downtime.
Support technicians and resolve complex test failures quickly.
Contribute to cost-reduction, process improvements, and production readiness reviews.
