Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Electrical/Test Engineer III to develop, verify, and sustain test processes and equipment for production of Collins products.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to improve test yields, throughput, and equipment uptime, provide technical mentorship, and support production readiness and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• 5+ years as Manufacturing Engineer in electronics with product testing focus.
• U.S. Person status required per posting.

Responsibilities

• Improve test yields, throughput, capacity, and product quality.
• Identify failure trends and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Study performance of test equipment and reduce downtime.
• Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and yields improvement.
• Provide capacity planning for staffing and equipment needs.
• Order capital test equipment using cost/payback analysis.
• Improve test fixtures for uptime and performance.
• Participate in Production Readiness Reviews for new designs.
• Support Gage R&R on new test solutions.
