Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Sr. Research Technician (Temp/Contract) to manufacture and checkout electronics test equipment, including assembly, wiring, and soldering to wire lists and schematics.

You will participate in checkout, integration, and troubleshooting of custom Acceptance Test Equipment used for Engineering Development and Production product acceptance testing. The role emphasizes adherence to aerospace quality practices, work with test engineers, and ability to read

Qualifications

• 2-year electronics degree or 5 years equivalent experience.
• Experience in electronics assembly, wiring, soldering and testing.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics and wire lists.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and checkout electronics test equipment per drawings.
• Assemble to drawings, wire and solder to wire lists.
• Checkout, integration and troubleshooting of Acceptance Test Equipment.
• Support engineering development and production product acceptance testing.
• Fabricate and maintain ATE hardware.
