Job summary

Astronics Corporation is hiring an Engineering Technician to support aerospace electronics quality. You will troubleshoot circuits, perform acceptance tests, and document results to ensure products meet stringent standards before delivery.

You’ll work with engineering and manufacturing on multiple programs and help minimize downtime through rigorous testing and analysis. The role requires detailed electrical measurements, problem solving, and strong communication within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Read and understand schematics and circuits.
• Familiar with electronic components and how to test them.
• Proficient with electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, generators).
• Minimum 3 years troubleshooting electronic circuits may apply (Option 1).
• Experience with LSI products and repair processes may apply (Option 2).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic products to pass acceptance testing.
• Inspect for workmanship per IPC-610 and verify wiring/orientation.
• Set up and run acceptance tests to reproduce issues.
• Take measurements and analyze results.
• Determine root causes of failures and document findings.
• Review findings with manufacturing/engineering teams.
• Document steps and results in Excel or databases.
