Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. in Auburn, CA is seeking a Production Technician to test, troubleshoot, repair and modify high-volume production of critical aerospace components.

You will work under limited direction to ensure products meet engineering and production specifications. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, validating with QA procedures, and performing automated and manual tests using diverse equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related field experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to troubleshoot, interpret electrical/mechanical data and root-cause issues.
• Proficient in communicating in English (spoken and written).
• Able to learn new test software and equipment.
• Manual dexterity for precise adjustments and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair and modify production of assigned products.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in production test operations.
• Certify as Crane Designated QA Inspector for product inspections.
• Create non-conformance reports with test details and root-cause findings.
• Interpret work orders, drawings, test procedures and specifications.
• Calibrate and adjust units, perform electrical/mechanical calculations.
• Perform automated and manual testing using various test equipment.
• Maintain safety and OSHA-compliant work practices.
