Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Chandler, AZ seeks an Electronics Technician III to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic and mechanical products and systems. The ideal candidate will read blueprints and schematics, calibrate to component level, document findings, and collaborate with design/test teams while adhering to safety practices and Lean manufacturing principles.

Includes 3‑5 years experience and AA degree in Electronics or Mechanical Technology.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent educational experience
• Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting methods and electronics
• AA degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology or equivalent knowledge
• Familiarity with product flow through manufacturing or repair environments
• Working knowledge of computer systems
• Able to learn new test software and equipment

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders, and test procedures to perform testing.
• Perform automated and manual testing using equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, ICT, flying probe, vibe, burn‑in, and thermal cycle systems; maintain logs.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot units down to component level using electrical and mechanical calculations.
• Create non‑conformance reports and collaborate with engineering to resolve production problems.
• Support safety programs and perform limited soldering/microscope work as needed.
• Test higher‑complexity units under limited supervision across programs.
