Job summary

Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed digital manufacturing marketplace, seeks an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to blend customer engagement, technical expertise, and project management in aerospace and defense sectors. This role supports Sales and reports to Pre-Sales Engineering.

You will partner with Account Executives, lead on-site visits, identify manufacturing challenges, and help prepare accurate quotes, with 25-35% travel, across Mountain or Pacific regions.

Qualifications

10+ years of aerospace/defense engineering and manufacturing experience.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST compliance.
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
Dissect customer requirements and craft competitive quotes.
Assist in on-site customer visits and project management.
Identify manufacturing challenges and recommend DFM improvements.
Stay aligned with upcoming customer projects and Xometry capabilities.
