Job summary

Xometry in the United States is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for Aerospace & Defense to blend customer engagement with advanced manufacturing knowledge. You will support Sales, gather insights, and help scope and quote complex opportunities.

The role requires 10+ years in aerospace/defense, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and hands-on experience with CNC, DFM, and ISO/AS standards. Travel 25-35% and familiarity with Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant aerospace/defense engineering and manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience using Xometry’s services from a customer perspective is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
• Discover, illuminate, digest, organize and execute major projects.
• Join onsite customer visits when appropriate to gather insights and address challenges.
• Assist in knowledge gathering and quoting for complex opportunities.
• Provide project management and oversight on opportunities.
