Job summary

Xometry, a leading digital manufacturing platform, seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer for Aerospace & Defense in Austin, TX. This customer-facing role blends engineering excellence with project management to support Sales on complex aerospace initiatives.

You will engage with Account Executives, drive strategic projects, and provide technical insights from the front lines. A 25%-35% travel expectation and a strong background in machining, DFM, and ISO/AS standards are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of aerospace/defense engineering experience.
• Experience using Xometry services or partner/network experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with DFM, ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST, and related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
• Discover, organize, and execute major projects with customers.
• Join onsite customer visits with Account Executives when appropriate.
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges including DFM and process improvements.
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities.
