Xometry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for Aerospace & Defense to blend deep engineering know-how with customer engagement and project leadership. This role supports Sales by translating complex requirements into manufacturable, value-driven solutions and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in aerospace/defense, a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong CNC machining expertise, and familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100d and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
10+ years in aerospace/defense engineering and manufacturing.
Experience with CNC machining and DFM concepts.
Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST compliance.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers and partners to drive account growth and project delivery.
Assist with knowledge gathering, quotes, and rapid solution scoping.
Provide project management oversight on complex opportunities.
Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales to align capabilities with needs.
