Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Senior Program Manager to direct and generate business opportunities for major programs within a division. You will work with customers to promote Parker technologies and determine how capabilities can be leveraged into new markets.

The role requires strong program management and aerospace marketing experience, with extensive customer contacts and cross-divisional collaboration. Travel may be required to support international programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Marketing, Engineering, or related field with eight or more years of experience, including two or more years of high-level program management or aerospace marketing.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace marketing and government procurement regulations.
• Well established customer contacts and ability to translate customer desires into business development strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develops proposals and contracts designed to attract the customer and provide an acceptable level of return by researching customer requirements and translating them into development opportunities.
• Develops and manages proposals and business development plans for domestic and international programs.
• Conducts competitive research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates goals and milestones for specific products and systems.
• Acts as liaison with customers, other divisions, and marketing to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers to gain knowledge of future market and customer needs.
• Identifies opportunities for business development by studying competitors’ products and trends.
• Maintains professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and industry participation.
