Blue Canyon Technologies in Boulder/Lafayette, CO seeks a Principal Business Development Manager to drive growth across product lines and lead strategic pursuits in aerospace markets. This senior role focuses on new business development, capture planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage price-to-win, budgets for NBI and events, and guide proposals with engineering, program management, and marketing teams, traveling ~25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Engineering/Business or related discipline.
• 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership to lead strategic pursuits.
• Proficient working on interdisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
• Experience with government RFP/RFI responses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• MS Office expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth and new business across product lines.
• Create and manage capture plans for future business and strategic partnerships.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with product-line support.
• Maintain CRM for contracts and opportunities.
• Determine price to win and pricing strategies with stakeholders.
• Support budgets for NBI, conferences, travel and marketing materials.
• Analyze industry trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional proposal teams to deliver timely, competitive proposals.
