Job summary

Blue Canyon Technologies, RTX's small satellite manufacturer, seeks a Business Development Manager II to drive capture planning and manage competitive proposal campaigns. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate RFI/RFP responses, and engage customers to win contracts for spacecraft and components.

This onsite role in Boulder/Lafayette CO requires travel about 25% and a strong aerospace background. Responsibilities include reviewing RFIs, guiding teams, and ensuring timely, compelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, engineering, systems, business administration, or related discipline.
• 4-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Strong motivation and curiosity for the aerospace/space industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture and proposal campaigns in collaboration with Business Development Team.
• Review RFI/RFP response requirements and assess strategy.
• Direct cross-functional proposal teams to deliver timely, competitive proposals.
• Respond to customer inquiries and RFIs/RFPs with product/engineering support.
• Support both spacecraft and components product lines.
• Maintain CRM for contracts and inquiries; monitor inbox daily.
• Promote information sharing to capture market share and inform roadmaps.
• Travel ~25% to meet customers and partners.
• Other duties as assigned.
