Job summary

Miami University in Oxford, OH, is seeking a Student Services Technician for the Admissions Office. This regular, hourly position works 30 hours per week from August to mid-May, at $19 per hour.

Responsibilities include managing the visit phone line, front desk coverage, calendar tasks, faculty scheduling, and providing general administrative support for admissions, registrar, and student financial aid functions.

Qualifications

• Requires twelve months of coursework beyond high school and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to interpret policies and assist diverse populations.
• Strong organizational and calendar management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of the visit phone line and direct callers for timely responses.
• Provide front desk coverage, room scheduling, and coordinate faculty appointments.
• Support calendars, meetings, agendas, and other duties as requested.
• Support events and projects; maintain accurate student files and databases.
• Informational resource for students and parents on admissions, registration, and aid.
