Job summary

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized Lead Intake Coordinator to oversee intake and admissions while supporting patients, families, and referral sources.

This leadership role coordinates admissions, ensures efficient patient flow, delivers high-quality behavioral health services, and guides the intake team in providing exceptional customer service. The hospital plans to open in 2026 and will create multiple clinical and support roles.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling with a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC through Missouri
• Or a Registered Nurse through Missouri or with compact license
• Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily admissions and assessment operations, ensuring timely patient access and appropriate level-of-care determinations.
• Supervise, coach, train, and support Admissions staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
• Coordinate admissions with physicians, nursing staff, referral sources, families, payers, and community partners.
• Monitor compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, patient rights, and regulations.
• Ensure accurate completion of assessments, admissions documentation, and communications with referral sources.
• Address patient, family, and referral concerns while promoting exceptional customer service.
• Analyze admissions activity, census trends, quality indicators, and department performance.
