Job summary

Quail Run Behavioral Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Intake to lead the Intake Admissions Department. You will oversee patient flow, staff productivity, and clinical leadership within the department, aligning with hospital policies and procedures.

The role requires nursing leadership experience, Arizona licensing, and strong knowledge of intake/admissions processes. On-site responsibilities include ensuring 24/7 staffing and after-hours coverage as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges.
• Master’s degree in nursing with 1 year hospital experience or Bachelor’s degree in nursing with 3 years hospital experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of hospital intake/admissions procedures; ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Management/leadership experience with a multi-disciplinary team preferred.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists Director of Admissions with onboarding and training of new staff and completing 90-Day and annual evaluations by due date.
• Evaluates the work performance of assigned staff; reviews schedules and staffing plans and implements changes as needed.
• Completes medical evaluations to support the admission process and documents communications to staff and patients.
• Ensures department is staffed 24 hours a day and fills in as necessary.
• Fulfills the duties of Administrator on Call, providing after-hours coverage per rotating schedule.
