Job summary

TrustPoint Hospital is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions to lead the Admissions Department and drive revenue-generating strategies for adolescent and adult behavioral health services. The role supports crisis triage, intake, and admission processes with a focus on quality and patient safety.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or active RN license, CPR/de-escalation certification, and 2+ years in healthcare admissions; LMSW/LCSW/LCPC/LPC licensure candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services field or RN required.
• Two or more years’ experience in a healthcare admissions role preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Admissions Department and cultivate the function of the department as an integrated team.
• Implement the business development and marketing plan as it pertains to admission and direct potential clients to treatment.
• Provide leadership in addressing quality management issues related to crisis triage, evaluation, intake and admission services.
• Train and supervise staff and serve as a preceptor for new admission team employees.
• Ensure patient safety and department efficiency, and maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
