Job summary

Norwescap is seeking a Dedicated Senior Adjudicator in the Phillipsburg, NJ area to adjudicate LIHEAP, USF, and related energy programs. You will apply DCA LIHEAP policies and determine eligibility while coordinating with Norwescap departments and external agencies.

This role emphasizes accurate documentation, stakeholder outreach, and collaboration with the LIHEAP Coordinator to support program goals and funding timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred in social work or related field.
• 2+ years in human services or nonprofit organizations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate LIHEAP/USF applications per DCA LIHEAP regulations in state MS 365 DB and energy programs.
• Maintain program participant files and obtain required documentation for applications.
• Act as point of contact for partner organizations assisting with client applications.
• Create and maintain outreach calendar and establish new partnerships.
• Attend BPU/DCA events and Housing/Community Development events.
• Maintain clerical workflow between call center and adjudicators.
• Assist with new program development and internal planning.
• Participate in Norwescap committees and meetings.

Education
