Job summary

Beehive Industries is redefining jet propulsion with advanced additive manufacturing in Knoxville, TN. The Manufacturing Engineer will own production processes, qualify capabilities, and drive scalable throughput for high-precision components used in defense applications.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Quality, and Lifecycle Manufacturing Engineering, with a focus on process development, NPI, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense environments.
• Experience with LPBF and/or MBJ additive manufacturing.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing process execution and readiness for assigned areas.
• Translate requirements into capable, repeatable production processes.
• Develop and improve processes across additive, machining, assembly, inspection, and post-processing.
• Lead process qualification and production validation activities.
• Provide direct technical support to Operations on safety, quality, cost, yield, and throughput.
• Maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and routings.
