Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in additive manufacturing, including LPBF and MBJ, to support production operations at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility. You will lead process development, qualification, and industrialization efforts to enable safe, capable, and scalable processes.

With 12 years of manufacturing engineering experience, you will collaborate across functions such as operations, quality, supply chain, and lifecycle engineering

Qualifications

• 12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or related industries.
• Experience with additive manufacturing (LPBF/MBJ) including build prep, parameter control, and post-processing.
• Experience in development, qualification, and sustaining manufacturing processes in high-precision environments.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing process execution, capability, and production readiness for assigned areas.
• Translate strategy and requirements into capable, repeatable production processes.
• Develop, implement, qualify, and improve processes across additive manufacturing, machining, assembly, inspection, and post-processing.
• Lead process transfer from NPI to sustained production and rate ramp.
• Create and maintain PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, standard work, routings, and inspections.
• Provide technical support for safety, quality, delivery, cost, yield, and throughput issues.
• Implement engineering changes at the site including tooling, programming, and operator training.
