Job summary
Beehive Industries in Knoxville is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong additive manufacturing background to support production operations, process development, and continuous improvement in a high‑precision environment focused on LPBF and MBJ.
You will own manufacturing process execution, translate engineering requirements into capable processes, lead PFMEAs and work instructions, and drive rate ramp from NPI through sustained production, collaborating across Operations,
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related field.
- 12+ years in manufacturing engineering within aerospace/defense or related industries.
- Experience delivering scalable additive manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing process execution, capability, and production readiness for assigned areas.
- Translate product manufacturing strategy into repeatable, scalable production processes.
- Develop, implement, qualify, and improve processes across additive, machining, assembly, inspection, and post‑processing.
- Lead process implementation and production‑readiness from NPI through sustained production.
- Maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, work instructions, and routings.
