Job summary

Beehive Industries, LLC is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer with a strong additive manufacturing background to drive process development, industrialization, and continuous improvement at our Knoxville facility. The role emphasizes LPBF/MBJ methods, tight tolerances, and high-precision production in aerospace contexts.

You will own manufacturing processes, lead NPI transfers, develop PFMEAs and control plans, and work cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, and Lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace or related field.
• 12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or related industries.
• Experience with additive manufacturing processes and high-precision production.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing process execution, capability, and production readiness for assigned areas.
• Lead NPIs, process qualification, and production ramp activities.
• Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, work instructions, and standard work across AM, machining, and assembly.
• Drive continuous improvement in yield, cycle time, and throughput.
• Provide direct technical support to Operations on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
