Job summary

Beehive Industries in Knoxville, TN seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with strong additive manufacturing expertise to drive process development, industrialization, and continuous improvement in a high‑precision environment. Experience with LPBF and MBJ, build preparation, powder handling, post‑processing, and equipment troubleshooting is required.

You will own process execution and production readiness, translate engineering requirements into capable processes, and collaborate with Operations,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Aerospace engineering or related field.
12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, defense, propulsion, turbomachinery, additive manufacturing, machining, assembly, or complex mechanical systems.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or defense environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing process execution, capability, and production readiness for assigned manufacturing areas, processes, products, or components.
Translate product manufacturing strategy, process intent, and technical requirements into capable, repeatable, and scalable production processes.
Develop, implement, qualify, and sustain manufacturing processes across additive manufacturing, machining, assembly, inspection, post-processing, or related operations.
Lead process implementation and production-readiness activities from NPI transfer through sustained production and rate ramp.
Lead development and maintenance of process documentation (PFMEAs, Control Plans, work instructions, routings).
