Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong machining background to support production operations. This role focuses on process development, continuous improvement, and technical problem solving in a high-precision environment, with aerospace manufacturing preference.

You will work with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable processes, including documentation and process qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing process execution, capability, and production readiness for assigned areas.
• Translate product manufacturing strategy into repeatable production processes.
• Develop, implement, qualify, and improve processes across additive manufacturing, machining, assembly, inspection, or related operations.
• Lead process implementation and production-readiness activities from NPI to sustained production.
• Ensure manufacturing requirements and risks are translated into site-level controls.
• Maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, standard work, routings, and other docs.
• Verify critical product characteristics within the manufacturing process.
• Lead process qualification, capability studies, and production validation before release.
• Provide technical support to Operations for safety, quality, delivery, cost, yield, or throughput issues.
• Manage engineering changes at the site including tooling, programming, routings, and training.
• Monitor site performance metrics like yield, scrap, cycle time, and throughput.
• Support low-rate production and ramp activities toward stable production systems.
• Represent site manufacturing engineering on cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
