Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Advanced Application Engineer to drive design solutions for electromechanical actuation systems across aerospace applications. You will lead projects from requirements through production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and customers to deliver advanced flight control actuation solutions.
The role reports to the Sr. Engineering Program Manager and operates on a hybrid schedule with initial onsite requirements for the first 90 days.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, sciences, math).
- Minimum 4 years of aerospace/electromechanical systems experience.
- Experience managing technical deliverables, schedules, and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics.
- Support EVMS activities, including tracking and reporting.
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Support design, integration, testing, qualification, and validation of actuation systems.
- Define verification strategies based on customer requirements.
