Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Application Engineer to join our Actuation Systems team in Tempe on a hybrid schedule, with the first 90 days onsite. You will lead design solutions for electromechanical actuation systems across aerospace, guiding the full product lifecycle from requirements through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in aerospace or related field.
• Experience managing technical deliverables and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource estimates, and performance metrics.
• Support EVMS activities, including performance tracking, reporting, and status updates.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and corrective actions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to proposals through technical planning, cost estimating, and schedule development.
• Support the design, integration, testing, qualification, and validation of electro-mechanical actuation systems.
• Analyze customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and define verification strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements.
• Lead technical problem-solving, root cause investigations, and resolution of engineering issues.
• Develop, review, and communicate technical documentation, test results, and program findings.
• Serve as a primary technical interface with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams to support successful hardware development and delivery.
