Job summary

AF Group is seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to lead multiline pricing and product development for a growing commercial portfolio. The role emphasizes strong property and casualty pricing expertise and collaboration with Product and Underwriting to drive profitable growth across Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Property lines.

The candidate will develop pricing frameworks, perform complex analyses, and present findings to executives.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make competent, independent decisions.
• Advanced knowledge of actuarial principles and practices in pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital management, underwriting and claims.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial leadership for multiline product development and pricing strategy across Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property and other lines.
• Evaluate competitive pricing approaches and translate market research into filing strategies, pricing tools and underwriting guidance.
• Partner with Product and Underwriting to identify opportunities for segmentation, pricing differentiation and profitable growth.
• Develop and maintain pricing, reserving, reinsurance and forecasting models.
• Monitor premium and loss ratio projections and communicate status to senior management.
• Mentor other actuarial analysts and contribute to department strategic planning.
