Job summary

AF Group is seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to lead pricing and product development across our commercial multiline portfolio, including Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Property. This position demands strong P&C pricing expertise and the ability to translate market research into actionable pricing strategies.

You will collaborate with Product and Underwriting, mentor junior actuaries, and help shape forecasting models and strategic plans to drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related area.
• FCAS/FSA designation and a minimum of eight (8) years P&C actuarial experience; OR Associate designation in the CAS or SOA with twelve (12) years P&C actuarial experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lead and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial leadership for multiline product development and pricing strategy for Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property, and more.
• Evaluate competitive pricing approaches and translate market research into filing strategies and pricing tools.
• Partner with Product and Underwriting to identify opportunities for segmentation and profitable growth.
• Build and evolve the multiline pricing framework with rate indications, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Perform actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital management and related purposes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations via presentations, reports, and pricing tools; document work and improve procedures.
