Job summary

AF Group seeks an experienced Senior Actuary to lead pricing for a growing commercial multiline portfolio. The role encompasses pricing strategy, product development support, and collaboration with Product, Underwriting, and other partners to translate market intelligence into actionable pricing tools.

The candidate should have strong P&C pricing expertise, experience with multiline portfolios, and the ability to evolve toward experience-based pricing and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related area.
• FCAS/FSA designation and a minimum of eight (8) years P&C actuarial experience; OR Associate designation in the CAS or SOA and minimum of twelve (12) years P&C actuarial experience

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial leadership for multiline product development and pricing strategy.
• Evaluate competitive pricing approaches and translate market research into filing strategies and pricing tools.
• Partner with Product and Underwriting to identify opportunities for segmentation and pricing differentiation.
• Develop and evolve the multiline pricing framework with rate indications and portfolio monitoring.
• Perform actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital management, and other financial purposes.
• Communicate findings via presentations, reports and pricing tools.
• Maintain procedures and document work; improve processes.
• Design and maintain pricing, reserving, reinsurance, and forecasting models.
• Collaborate with business units to drive strategic plans and metrics.
• Monitor premium and loss ratio projections and report to management.
