Job summary

AF Group seeks an experienced Senior Actuary to lead multiline product development and pricing across Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property, and other lines as the portfolio expands. The role focuses on pricing strategy, market analysis, and collaboration with Product and Underwriting to drive profitable growth.

The position requires FCAS/FSA or CAS/SOA credentials with extensive P&C actuarial experience. Strong communication and modeling skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make competent, independent decisions.
• Advanced knowledge of actuarial principles and practices in reinsurance, reserving, ratemaking, financial reporting, capital management, underwriting, and claims.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial leadership for multiline product development and pricing strategy.
• Evaluate pricing approaches and translate research into filing strategies and pricing tools.
• Partner with Product and Underwriting for segmentation and profitable growth.
• Develop and maintain pricing framework, including rate indications and diagnostics.
• Perform pricing, reserving, product development and forecasting analyses.
• Communicate findings through presentations and reports.
