Metric Geo is seeking a senior ACTAR-certified Accident Reconstruction Expert to lead complex investigations within a defined geographic region, delivering technically defensible opinions and guiding case strategy in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

ACTAR certification required.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Demonstrated accident reconstruction experience.
Prior deposition and/or trial testimony experience.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead accident reconstruction investigations involving passenger vehicles, trucking, pedestrian, bicycle, and other complex dynamic events.
Perform collision analysis including speed determination, impact severity, vehicle dynamics, and event sequencing.
Conduct site inspections, vehicle inspections, and evidence evaluations.
Analyse EDR data, video evidence, photographs, and physical evidence.
Prepare technically robust expert reports and opinions.
Provide deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial testimony.
Mentor junior reconstruction staff and contribute to technical quality and regional growth.
