MediaNews Group is seeking a Billing Specialist II to join our team. This role handles billing for all newspapers owned by MediaNews Group, including rating, billing, custom contracts, special pricing, contract entry, and adjustments.

Although described as remote, candidates must reside in Colorado or Ohio. You will generate advertising billing files, serve as the primary billing contact for local departments, research and resolve billing issues, train new staff, and assist with system testing

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business or combination of college education and experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automated billing systems (Mactive and/or PBS system preferred).

MediaNews Group is seeking a Billing Specialist II to join our team. This position is responsible for billing processes for all properties (newspapers) owned by MediaNews Group. This includes, but is not limited to: rating, billing, custom contracts, special pricing, contract entry, and adjustments.

Please Note: Although this is a remote position, candidates must reside in Colorado or Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Generate advertising billing files, ensuring the accuracy of data prior to submission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business and/or a combination of college education and experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automated billing systems (Mactive and/or PBS system preferred).

The hourly range is $20.50 - $21.50. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.
