Job summary

Finance in a Box is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Manager to own end-to-end AP for US-based clients, working hands-on in Ramp and NetSuite, and serving as a key client-facing partner. This role drives the full procure-to-pay cycle, vendor onboarding, and month-end close.

You will lead and develop the AP team, drive process improvements and automation, ensure US GAAP compliance, and partner with purchasing and receiving teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive AP experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading AP teams.
• Hands-on Ramp experience.
• Hands-on NetSuite AP module experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AP operations for US-based clients, overseeing the full procure-to-pay cycle.
• Oversee invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor reconciliations.
• Administer Ramp platform for corporate cards, reimbursements, and expense approvals.
• Lead NetSuite AP module setup, workflows, and troubleshooting.
• Lead vendor onboarding and maintain vendor master data.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way PO matching on high-volume invoices.
• Process ACH and wire payments with proper approvals.
• Own AP month-end and year-end close.
• Develop AP policies, internal controls, and reporting.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with purchasing/receiving and serve as AP contact for clients.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations for US-based clients, overseeing the full procure-to-pay cycle.
• Oversee invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor reconciliations.
• Administer the Ramp platform for corporate cards, employee reimbursements, and expense approvals.
• Own hands-on management of the NetSuite AP module, including setup, workflows, and troubleshooting.
• Lead vendor onboarding and maintain accurate vendor master data.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way PO matching on high-volume invoice processing.
• Process ACH and wire payments in accordance with approval controls.
• Complete vendor account reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Own the AP component of month-end and year-end close.
• Develop and implement AP policies, systems, and internal controls.
• Prepare AP reporting and track performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with purchasing/receiving teams and serve as the primary AP point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing AP teams.
• Hands-on experience with Ramp.
• Hands-on experience with the NetSuite AP module.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
• Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment.
• Experience in the logistics industry.
• Experience with O2C, P2P, invoicing, and debit/credit notes.
