Cu-Student-Choice-Partners-LL is seeking an Accounting Specialist – Senior in San Antonio/Home Office to manage core accounting processes, including cash reconciliations, payment processing, accounts payable and receivable, and student funding, ensuring accurate records and compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile daily bank transactions to the general ledger.
• Process student funding files daily and ensure data accuracy.
• Review and balance accounts receivable, client billing, and invoicing processes.
• Process vendor invoices and monitor approvals and coding.
• Assist with monthly close, journal entries, and internal controls.
