Job summary

Cu-Student-Choice-Partners-LL in San Antonio is seeking an Accounting Specialist to execute key accounting processes supporting financial operations, including student funding, cash reconciliations, payments, AR, billing, AP, and employee reimbursements.

Reporting to the Accounting Director, you will help ensure accurate recordkeeping, GAAP compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions across Sage Intacct, Excel, and related systems while collaborating with department leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Post daily bank transactions to the general ledger with supporting documentation.
• Process student funding, vendor/customer setups, and data imports accurately.
• Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable, billing, and monthly closings.
• Handle accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and tax compliance.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and internal controls.
