Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Associate to Manager, Accounting, Reporting & Technology. This remote role partners with clients to solve complex accounting and reporting challenges at the intersection of accounting, technology, and transformation.

You will leverage data, automation, and modern finance systems to enable scalable processes and more informed decision-making. You will work across engagements including M&A, capital markets, IPO readiness, and regulatory reporting, collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in professional services, public accounting, or corporate accounting
• Active CPA license (preferred) or progress toward certification
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with acquisition accounting, divestitures, transaction readiness, and similar topics
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with automation, reporting tools, or analytics platforms

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters
• Partner with clients to understand business processes, systems, and data flows to assess accounting impacts
• Analyze, reconcile, and validate large data sets using Excel and analytics tools
• Draft technical accounting memoranda documenting issues and conclusions
• Support pre- and post-transaction accounting for acquisitions and IPOs
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1)
• Improve documentation and cross-team collaboration for audit readiness
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Manage project tasks and timelines to deliver high-quality results
• Collaborate with leadership to deliver integrated accounting advisory solutions
• Participate in training to deepen technical accounting knowledge and finance technology
