Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Associate to Manager, Accounting, Reporting & Technology, offering remote work with options in designated hubs. The role focuses on complex financial accounting and reporting challenges at the intersection of accounting and technology.

You will partner with clients across industries, leveraging data, automation, and modern finance systems to deliver scalable, accurate reporting and analysis, with opportunities for growth and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or related field; CPA license preferred or in progress.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in professional services, public accounting, or corporate accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with automation, reporting tools, or analytics platforms is a plus.
• Ability to translate technical accounting guidance into practical, business-focused recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Partner with clients to understand processes, systems, and data flows to assess accounting impacts.
• Analyze large data sets using Excel and analytics tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda documenting issues and conclusions for client use.
• Provide pre- and post-transaction accounting support for acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and capital markets activities.
• Support preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1).
• Improve documentation and collaboration between finance, operations, and auditors.
