Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Associate to Manager, Accounting, Reporting & Technology to partner with clients on complex financial accounting and reporting challenges. The role blends accounting expertise with data, automation, and modern finance systems to help organizations move faster, operate smarter, and scale with confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in professional services, public accounting, or corporate accounting with exposure to complex transactions.
• Active CPA license or progress toward certification.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with acquisition accounting, divestitures, and transaction readiness.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets; familiarity with automation or analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Partner with clients to understand business processes, systems, and data flows.
• Analyze, reconcile, and validate large data sets using Excel and analytics tools.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda documenting issues and conclusions.
• Provide pre- and post-transaction accounting support for acquisitions and capital markets activities.
• Support preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1).
• Assist with audit readiness by improving documentation and collaboration between finance and auditors.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation across accounting and reporting.
