Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Associate to Manager in Accounting, Reporting & Technology. This remote, permanent role partners with clients to solve complex financial accounting and reporting challenges at the intersection of accounting and transformation.

You will work across M&A, IPO readiness, regulatory reporting, and finance transformation, leveraging data, automation, and modern finance systems to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in professional services, public accounting, or corporate accounting.
• Active CPA license (preferred) or progress toward certification.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters using technology-enabled tools.
• Collaborate with clients to map business processes, systems, and data flows to assess accounting impacts.
• Analyze large data sets with Excel and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda documenting issues and conclusions for client reviews.
• Provide pre- and post-transaction accounting support for acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and other capital markets activities.
