Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Associate to Manager, Accounting, Reporting & Technology to partner with clients on complex financial accounting and reporting challenges at the intersection of accounting, data, and transformation.

You will leverage technology-enabled tools, data, and automation to streamline analyses, improve accuracy, and enhance decision-making across engagements, including M&A, IPO readiness, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or related field.
• Active CPA license (preferred) or progress toward certification.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Partner with clients to understand business processes, systems, and data flows to assess accounting impacts.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda documenting issues and conclusions for client-ready formats.
• Provide pre- and post-transaction accounting support for acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and other capital markets activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1).
• Assist clients in audit readiness and improve documentation and collaboration between finance and auditors.
