Job summary

Coram AI is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own and scale accounting operations as the company expands across the U.S., UK, and India. You will partner with the Head of Finance to manage close, reporting, revenue, inventory, and controls, while guiding the NetSuite transition from QuickBooks and preparing for the initial external audit.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes building scalable processes, leveraging AI and automation, and driving improvements across global accounting

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm then industry)
• Own month-end close and financial reporting
• US GAAP expertise and internal controls
• Revenue recognition ASC 606 and inventory accounting
• Mentor/coach accounting team members
• Experience with ERP transitions and audits

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the month-end close and financial reporting
• Oversee financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting per US GAAP
• Manage revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory accounting, COGS, and hardware/software revenue
• Build internal controls, policies, and scalable processes
• Lead NetSuite implementation as we transition from QuickBooks
• Prepare the company for its first external financial statement audit
• Develop our Finance Manager and support accounting across geographies
• Collaborate with Head of Finance on strategy and operational improvements
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks
• Remain hands-on with complex accounting issues
