Coram AI seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to own and scale our accounting operations as we grow across the U.S., UK, and India. You’ll partner with the Head of Finance to manage month-end close, financial reporting, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and internal controls while guiding our NetSuite transition from QuickBooks.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes process improvement, automation, and a path to broader leadership.

Qualifikationen

• 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience, beginning in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) followed by industry experience.
• Proven experience owning the month-end close, managing revenue recognition under ASC 606, and participating in external audits
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Demonstrated career progression through promotions, expanded responsibilities, or increasing scope
• Experience managing or mentoring at least one accounting or finance team member
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently resolve complex accounting issues
• Comfortable leveraging AI, automation, and technology to improve accounting processes
• High ownership, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale five days per week

Aufgaben

• Own and continuously improve the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting in accordance with US GAAP
• Manage revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory accounting, COGS, and hardware/software revenue arrangements
• Build and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial processes
• Lead the accounting side of our NetSuite implementation as we transition from QuickBooks
• Prepare the organization for its first external financial statement audit
• Manage and develop our Finance Manager, supporting accounting operations across the U.S., UK, and India
• Partner closely with the Head of Finance on accounting strategy, reporting, and operational improvements
• Leverage AI, automation, and modern accounting technologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes
• Remain hands-on, taking ownership of complex accounting issues and critical deliverables
