Job summary

RapidFort, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager (IC) to lead the monthly close, strengthen controls, and drive scalable accounting practices in a fast‑growth technology environment.

The role combines hands‑on technical accounting with cross‑functional partnership across FP&A, Operations, and Legal, and may evolve into team leadership as the company scales. You will own SOX readiness, policy development, and internal control enhancements to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience owning full-cycle close and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Own end-to-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, schedules.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and timely resolution of variances.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting issues; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Support SOX compliance initiatives and audit readiness.
