Job summary

Polymarket seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to own the close process, lead technical accounting, and build scalable controls for growth. You’ll work with cross-functional teams on new products, international expansion, and M&A, shaping accounting policy for crypto-native activity.

This is a high-responsibility role at a fast-moving crypto-finance company. You’ll report to the Controller and help ensure rigorous, timely financial reporting across global entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• Active CPA license required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth/private and public company environments.
• 3+ years Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; ability to research complex topics and write memos.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end to end.
• Research and document technical accounting positions (ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 350-40).
• Lead the financial reporting process and support external audits.
• Manage intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
• Scope and implement accounting systems to improve speed and accuracy.
• Partner with legal, product, and business development on new initiatives.
• Define and document accounting policies for crypto-native activity.
