CV Resources, Inc. is partnering with a growing technology and manufacturing client to fill a Senior Accountant role on the Finance team.

This hands-on position offers ownership of core accounting functions and scope to build scalable processes within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and capable of mentoring junior staff while navigating GAAP requirements and coordinating with audits and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with QuickBooks or a comparable ERP/accounting system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to accounting policies.
• Manage revenue recognition processes and related schedules.
• Coordinate monthly revenue review meetings and forecasts.
• Handle payroll accruals and labor allocations across projects and cost centers.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process vendor invoices and payments; monitor collections.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation; liaise with auditors.
