Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is a national leader in crisis care, delivering immediate-access behavioral health services with a physician-led, data-driven approach. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to handle complex journal entries, close processes, and grant reporting in a fully remote role across eligible states.

The position requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, 3 years of related experience, and proficiency with Excel/GL systems; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3 years of related work experience.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, and general ledger systems.
• CPA
• Healthcare finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial results compared to budget and provide variance analytics.
• Manage monthly market billing, ensuring timely invoicing per contracts and funding.
• Monitor accounts receivable, collections, aging, and reconcile billing discrepancies.
• Prepare grant-related financial reporting and ensure grant compliance.
• Liaise with government agencies and funding partners for reporting and inquiries.
• Collaborate with operations and government partners to ensure accurate revenue and grant compliance.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle to ensure monthly revenue is accounted for and reconcile A/R.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform month-end close research.
• Support annual financial statement audits with information and documentation.
• Maintain controls and integrity of financial systems and data.
• Assist Staff Accountant on complex issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information.
