Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the preparation of financial statements, close processes, and grant-related reporting in a fully remote role aligned with our crisis-care mission.

You will review results, manage billing and accounts receivable, maintain reconciliations, and assist with audits, while collaborating with government partners and other teams to ensure accurate revenue, billing, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and general ledger systems.
• Healthcare finance experience.
• CPA may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial results and provide variance analytics.
• Manage monthly market billing process and ensure timely invoicing.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and collection activities.
• Prepare and support grant-related financial reporting and documentation.
• Serve as primary accounting liaison for government agencies and funding partners.
• Collaborate with operational and government teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Assist with annual financial statement audits.
