Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a fully remote role across the United States. This position supports the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and month-end close while ensuring accuracy of billing, grants reporting, and revenue recognition in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain internal controls, and assist with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3 years of related work experience.
• Excel, Word, and general ledger systems proficiency.
• CPA preferred / certification considered.
• Healthcare finance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial results compared to budget and provide variance analytics.
• Manage the monthly market billing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation, review, and distribution of invoices.
• Monitor and maintain accounts receivable balances, including collection activities and aging analysis.
• Prepare, maintain, and support grant-related financial reporting and documentation.
• Serve as primary accounting liaison for government agencies and funding partners.
