Aston Carter seeks an Accountant to join our Honolulu team on a permanent, on-site basis. You will prepare invoices, manage accounts receivable and payable, and ensure GAAP and DCAA compliance while supporting payroll processes.

You will serve as the primary contact for accounting and payroll questions, drive process improvements, and participate in special projects while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years general accounting experience required.
• At least 2 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with DoD contracting and DCAA requirements desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Ceridian HRIS and QuickBooks Pro desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Recommends and implements process improvements to reduce manual work and accelerate payroll tasks.
• Serves as primary contact for accounting and payroll questions.
• Prepares and submits invoices; monitors accounts receivable delinquencies.
• Records vendor invoices, processes payments, and maintains AP files.
• Prepares monthly and annual GET reports.
• Ensures GAAP and DCAA compliance in accounting activities.
• Participates in special projects and general accounting activities.
